Each scout needs BOTH a Class 1 and 2 medical form. A physical exam by a physician is required within the last 24 months and a recent update by the Scouts parents is required.  Adults over 40 need a yearly physical and the Class 3 health form.

Troop 1 Summer Camp Merit Badge Selection Form & Merit Badge Info.  

The above form was handed out at the last Troop meeting. Merit badge signups are on a first come- first serve basis, so get the information back to me as quickly as possible. An e-mail response is fine. I need some scout personal information and what MB's and period they would like to take them in. Be sure to check difficulty and prerequisites. The climbing Merit badge has an age requirement of 13+. If you want to take Rifle Shooting, Archery or Shot Gun Shooting , they suggest you also leave period 4 open for practice and qualifying. CPR Training is a prerequisite for Lifesaving and Swimming. You may be able to get this at camp, but to ensure you pass you need a CPR card in advance. Huntington Beach Fire Dept. offers CPR through the Firemed program. Here is the link: Huntington Beach Fire Dept. CPR Training
